MonTango
In Concert MonTango
weaves a fascinating history of Argentine Tango throughout this live
performance. A history of dangerous times, impossible dreams,
tarnished hope and lost love that flows through the symphonic designs of
these rhythms. The leader, Tom Montgomery, plays the bandoleon.
The instrument most closely associated with the tango with an
interesting history of it's own. Montgomery founded MonTango after
being captivated by the music or Argentina's legendary Astor Piazzolla,
his favorite Tango composer. |
